About Us

Our Evaluations

Our comprehensive neuropsychological evaluations provide a deep understanding of an individual's strengths and needs. We take a compassionate, thorough, and evidence-based approach. We work with children (ages 6+), adolescents, and young adults.

Our evaluations include several components:

Cognitive Functioning

Our assessments focus on identifying strengths and needs in areas such as attention, memory, language, visual-spatial skills, processing speed, and executive functioning.

Social & Emotional Well-Being

We conduct thorough assessments to understand social skills and emotion regulation. Our evaluations guide treatment recommendations to support resilience, flexibility, confidence, and self-advocacy.

Academic Achievement

We determine a student's educational needs by consulting with educators, reviewing academic records, and assessing a student's reading, writing, and math skills. We are also available to complete school observations, attend IEP meetings, and consult with educational advocates and attorneys.

Consultation

We collaborate with schools, therapists, pediatricians, and other professionals to ensure that our evaluations are comprehensive and recommendations are actionable.

Payment Options

Dr. Seidel is in-network with Blue Cross Blue Shield (BCBS) and Aetna. Dr. Lawrence is in-network with BCBS. We also offer private pay options and provide superbills for out-of-network reimbursement.

A comprehensive evaluation will often include assessing a student's educational needs. This involves several steps, such as reviewing school records, getting input from teachers, and testing reading, writing, and math skills. These steps provide information that is necessary to make specific recommendations for supports at school.

Please note that this part of the evaluation is not covered by insurance. It is important for us to get a complete picture of your child's school life (including social, emotional, and behavioral aspects), which is why this step is usually required. If you have any questions or need more information, feel free to ask.
